ARTIST STATEMENT: I use paint, crayons, collage, mixed media, intaglio and dry point to make art that comments on social attitudes, and existential quandaries: alienation, isolation, and the search for meaning.
I am the founder of Gravity Free Press., the publisher of Traces of Sepharad, a book of forty-five interpretive etchings of Sephardic proverbs with literary and scholarly essays in Spanish and English. In 2011, GFP published two Artist Books: “But a Bubble” and “Man: A Machine of Absurdities.” Each contain 13 drypoints and two drawings.
