A commemoration observed by the reading of prison letters, performed by David Margulies and Marie Barrientos, at the Word Up Bookstore in NYC. Artwork by Marc Shanker. "An Unending Wrong." A prejudiced judge and jury convicted these two innocent Italian immigrants, and while the world gasped in shock and horror, they were electrocuted on August 23, 1927 in Massachusetts. Kept apart and in solitary confinement, these letters were their lifeline to friends and family.
